Put-things-into-motion
(UX/UI) Designer & Researcher
I'm a UX designer and a researcher who's passionate about creating meaningful, user-centered digital experiences. I combine thoughtful design with research-driven insights to understand user needs, uncover opportunities, and turn complex problems into intuitive solutions. By balancing creativity with strategy, I aim to design products that are not only visually engaging but also practical, accessible, and impactful.
I am a UX designer with a bachelor's degree in Creative Business from Utrecht University of Applied Science supported by UX certifications. My education gives me a unique blend of technical and user-centred design expertise. I have three and a half years of professional experience at VU Amsterdam, when I have contributed to impacted projects across various domains. Currently, I work on blending my design expertise with a focus on creating meaningful learning experiences.
Over the years, I have worked projects ranging from web applications to information architecture, content strategy, and research-driven design.
Though my approach is research-first and user-centered, I believe that truly great design is not just about testing and understanding users; it's also about taking creative risks and exploring bold ideas. While research forms the foundation of my work, I see design as an opportunity to push boundaries, challenge conventions, and think outside the box.
This means sometimes departing from the conventional data-driven path and allowing for creative exploration. I value intuition, experimentation, and curiosity as much as I do research, believing that the best solutions often emerge when creativity and strategy are balanced. By integrating both methodologies, I aim to design experiences that are thoughtful, innovative, and truly impactful.
